Help Feed and Care for the Bears

The North American Bear Center strives to give its’ ambassador bears the best possible care. This care includes routine veterinary wellness checks, enrichment objects to help stimulate their minds and to replicate working for their food in the wild, and bedding and mulch to make their habitats as comfortable as possible. We also plant wild foods within the enclosure for the bears. Each bear has an individual dietary plan established by our Senior Bearkeeper. We provide a wide variety of foods and supplements for our bears which include fresh and dried fruits, nuts, vegetables, and protein such as eggs and tuna fish; all essential for a balanced diet. Your donation will be used to maintain the quality care provided to each ambassador black bear.

The North American Bear Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit and we rely solely on visitor admissions, retail sales, and the generosity of donors and members who believe in our mission. We do not receive any state or federal funding and your donation may be tax deductible.
