FUNdraiser Team Member

Organization: NABC/WRI

Location: Remote

Number of Positions: Open Ended

Reports to: Project Coordinators

Overview: Collaborate with other team members to generate ideas, execute Fundraisers, and participate in the necessary activities to run a successful fundraiser on Facebook.


  1. Active participation in each scheduled Fundraiser (FR) through:
    • Writing posts for FR and announcements
    • Preparing photos for FR and announcements
    • Posting on LTBB Wall for upcoming FR
    • Monitoring of LTBB Wall during FR
    • Running planned games or contests during scheduled FR shifts
    • Mailing prizes procured for FR
  2. Post reminders and advertisements for ongoing FR projects, such as Give MN
    • Minimum of 1 (one) shift per week – subject to change based on need
    • Distribution of scheduled shifts among all FR Team members
  3. Document volunteer hours and activities spent on FR Team, including:
    • Development of ideas, photos and posts when assigned
    • Team or committee meetings
    • Posting and LTBB Wall shifts before and during FR
    • Handling and mailing time spent in distribution of prizes
  4. Assist in procurement of prizes to be used for FR activities
  5. Project or Committee Leader is required to prepare a monthly progress report and submit by the 3rd of each month to coordinators

Ideal Candidate Background:

  • Fundraising experience for non-profit organizations
  • Computer/Graphics skills
  • Creative writing and proof reading skills
  • On-line research skills
  • Enthusiasm and high commitment
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Working knowledge of Facebook
  • Flexible Schedule

Time Commitment: Varies depending on FR activities, but typically 3 hours per week.
